Dear Friends, with yoga we are dealing with the body, mind and soul. If one of these areas is underdeveloped or ill, then the entire person is not balanced or well. Yogananda indicated that if you are in pain all the time, it is impossible to be happy. And ultimately, we all want happiness. The hatha yoga deals with the body; the raja yoga {meditation, visualizations, mantra, pranayama(breath/spirit)} deal with the mind and soul. For physical health we need to follow the health laws. Mental health needs to be attended to by right actions and thoughts or right attitude. Spiritual health can be obtained with spiritual work such as pranayama, visualization, discernment of truth, meditation, right company, self-control, etc. We will be placing some yoga healing exercises on this website for you to review.
